Job Description
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for assigned projects. Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures. Monitor project budgets and analyze variances to ensure financial goals are met. Collaborate with project managers to provide financial insights and support decision-making. Prepare and present financial reports to internal and external stakeholders. Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Project Accountant should have:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of experience within construction accounting Experience within a general contractor Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills to work effectively with diverse teams. Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. What's on Offer
