Key Responsibilities (Top 5-6) Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP. Prepare and review complex journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly financial statements. Oversee fixed asset accounting, including capitalization, depreciation, and capital project tracking. Manage lease accounting under ASC 842, including maintenance of the ROU asset register. Analyze financial data and trends to support strategic decision-making. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA designation (or active candidacy) strongly preferred. Experience: 4-6 years of progressive accounting experience required. Background in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods (CPG) a plus; Big 4 public accounting experience strongly preferred. Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and ERP systems NetSuite experience highly preferred Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Other: Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a proven ability to lead process improvements, implement best practices, and build cross-functional partnerships.
