Our public utility client in Davenport, IA is seeking multiple
Oracle C2M Developers
to support three specialized work tracks. This short-term engagement offers the chance to leverage your Oracle Utilities expertise in a highly regulated industry and make an immediate impact.
Must work on our W2 Consultant should be flexible may need to report onsite every other week
Roles Needed
(Shared Skillset Across 3 Tracks) Oracle C2M Billing & Payments Developer Focus: Customizing billing, payment, and collection processes Expertise: Oracle Utilities C2M, CC&B, MDM
Oracle C2M Field & Metering Developer Focus: Meter lifecycle management, field activities, AMI/MDM integration Expertise: Oracle Utilities C2M, CC&B, MDM
Oracle C2M CX Developer Focus: CX integration, self-service portals, mobile apps, real-time data exchange with CX platforms Expertise: Oracle Utilities C2M, CC&B, MDM
Core Technical Responsibilities (All Roles) Translate functional designs into technical designs, code, and unit tests Develop Groovy scripts for automation (customer contact preferences, service requests, notifications across C2M/CX) Integrate with payment gateways & mobile apps for real-time posting and billing Customize BPA scripts, Zones & Portals, and service scripts Configure applications to meet evolving business requirements Provide cross-team solutions and contribute to key architecture decisions Deliver advanced Design & Build Enablement and intermediate Build/Release Management Develop innovative solutions to enhance user experience and efficiency Conduct thorough testing and validation of deliverables Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration Mentor junior team members and share best practices Stay updated on industry trends, Oracle C2M enhancements, and emerging technologies Required Qualifications
Proven hands-on expertise with
Oracle Utilities C2M, CC&B, and MDM Strong experience with customizations across billing, payments, collections, and CX/field activities Proficiency in
Groovy scripting
for automation Experience integrating with payment gateways, mobile apps, and AMI/MDM systems Ability to configure applications, design solutions, and validate data across platforms Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills Willingness to travel onsite every other week to Davenport, IA Preferred Qualifications
Experience in
highly regulated industries , especially utilities Familiarity with advanced reporting, data extraction, and cross-system reconciliations Demonstrated ability to mentor junior staff and contribute to process improvement initiatives
