Job Description
Conduct bottom-up credit analysis on corporate issuers across high-yield and leveraged loan markets Build and maintain detailed three-statement financial models, including pro forma adjustments for M&A, refinancing, and capital structure scenarios Evaluate creditworthiness, covenant structures, and recovery assumptions across primary and secondary market opportunities Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to senior portfolio managers and other stakeholders Monitor portfolio performance, earnings releases, and market developments to inform trading and risk decisions Collaborate with structuring and legal teams on deal execution, documentation, and compliance Support broader investment strategy across CLO tranches, structured credit, and opportunistic credit themes MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
2-5 years of experience in corporate credit, investment banking, or buy-side research Strong command of financial modeling, including three-statement builds, leverage metrics, and scenario analysis Familiarity with high-yield credit, leveraged loans, and capital structure dynamics Excellent writing and presentation skills; able to synthesize complex credit stories into actionable insights Flat team structure with high visibility and impact Hybrid fund-bank culture offering both stability and agility What's on Offer
