Primary Purpose:

The Senior Machinery Specialist will act as a maintenance subject matter expert for rotating equipment including Gas Turbines, Centrifugal & Reciprocating compressors, Cryogenic & all types of Centrifugal & Reciprocating pumps, HV & MV motors, Fans, Blowers and all accessory equipment of rotating equipment.

This position will be located in Hackberry, Louisiana.

Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC)

is required. Employees' primary residence must be located within a one-hour drive from the Hackberry plant site.

Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee maintenance activities for rotating equipment, ensuring compliance with HSSE standards and company policies. Develop scopes of work and method statements for major maintenance of Rotating equipment. Assist planning and lead field execution of major overhauls for critical rotating equipment, coordinating with CLNG maintenance, OEMs, and contractors. Serve as the primary field expert for rotating equipment during maintenance, inspections, and overhauls. Perform troubleshooting and recommend corrective actions to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Provide technical mentorship and training to maintenance staff and contractors. Ensure compliance with API, ANSI, and other relevant industry standards and best practices for rotating equipment. Oversee offsite repairs of critical rotating equipment. Maintain and ensure accurate and complete documentation of maintenance activities. Perform and verify precision tasks such as laser alignment, balancing, and seal/bearing replacements. Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to optimize equipment reliability through identification of improvement opportunities and strategy development. Coordinate special projects and perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

Required: NCCER certified and 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred: NCCER certified Millwright and 10 years relevant experience

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

Able to replace mechanical seals Able to replace dry gas seals of compressors Able to replace hydrodynamic bearings and anti-friction bearings on rotating equipment Able to perform precision measurements, and alignment of multi-machine train Knowledge in lubrication programs Knowledgeable in rotating equipment condition monitoring techniques like vibration monitoring, lube oil monitoring and thermography Knowledge in auxiliary rotating equipment (e.g. seal plan systems and lube oil systems) Familiar with rotating equipment from GE, Ebara, Elliott, Siemens, Sundyne, Flowserve etc. Able to carry out spare assessments and utilize special tools for overhauling of major rotating equipment Can perform minor trouble shooting of rotating equipment abnormalities. Have good computer skills Possesses strong communication, work ethic and technical skills Able to work with a culturally diverse group of individuals whose skills cover the range required to engineer, operate and maintain LNG facilities Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, walk, climb, run, sit, kneel, twist, bend, pull, push, carry, lift, reach overhead and drive. Most activities involve movement of either the upper and lower body extremities or both and the joints associated with these areas of the body. Must be able to enter confined spaces. Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces and climb stairs and ladders that ranges from 4 ft to 200 ft. Must be able to lift equipment needed to perform work. Must be able to wear safety equipment such as safety harness, respirator and other protective equipment as needed to perform job. When outdoors, this classification is exposed to extremes of heat, cold, loud noise and dust. Must be willing to be on call, work outside of normal business hours as required and handle emergency response responsibilities. Must be willing to travel for trainings and/or meetings as required.
