Geshers Fulfillment is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Manager to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the procurement process, ensuring that our supply chain remains efficient and cost-effective. As our Purchasing Manager, you will work closely with vendors and suppliers to negotiate agreements, manage inventory levels, and analyze market trends. Your expertise will help us maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency. We operate in a fast-paced environment, and your ability to make informed decisions while managing multiple priorities will be essential for success. In addition to managing purchasing, you will collaborate with various departments, including operations and finance, to align purchasing strategies with overall business goals. Your role will require you to stay abreast of industry developments, build strong relationships with suppliers, and innovate our procurement processes to enhance our fulfillment capabilities. Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with company goals.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors to secure the best prices and terms.
Monitor supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
Manage inventory levels, ensuring that the company has the right amount of stock on hand.
Analyze market trends and supplier performance to make informed purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan for upcoming projects.
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and timely delivery of products.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a fulfillment or logistics context.
Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of securing favorable terms.
Excellent analytical skills and experience with inventory management systems.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective supplier and team collaboration.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and purchasing software applications.
