Staff Accountant .
This role will be an
on-site position
in the office, but with flexibility as needed.
Salary
- $55,000 -$65,000 based on experience
Client would be open to either a recent graduate with an accounting degree, or someone with 1-3 years of experience coming out of public accounting or another staff accountant role.
Candidate will be responsible for: Assist in preparing the General Ledger for month-end, quarter-end, and year end close Preparing journal entries Audit support as requested from Controller, CFO, and Audit firm Bank account and credit card reconciliations Support company compliance activities as requested from leadership Assist with integration activities from acquired companies Ad hoc financial analysis via Microsoft Excel Other duties as assigned
Candidate should have the following background:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable 4-year college 0-5 years of accounting experience either in corporate accounting or public accounting Strong Microsoft experience - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. Problem-solving ability to take care of non-standard issues Great communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively both internally and externally to the company and customers Ability to work under deadlines Ability to accept training from leadership
