Business Development Manager Overview of Role The Proposal Coordinator will be responsible for creating and editing content and overall production of proposals, capability statements, and other related marketing materials. In addition, the Proposal Coordinator will facilitate the creation of proposal-related documentation, including firm profiles, experience, resumes, and maintain proposal templates.

Essential Functions • Content development, including writing and editing • Document development, producing polished client submissions • Perform quality assurance checks on all documentation • Assist in Go/ No-Go process • Responsible for production and delivery efforts • Maintain company image and brand through the creation and use of templates, presentation materials, graphics, supporting tools and a past proposal library • Actively and constantly seek to improve the proposal process • Contributes to team performance by collaboration and effective communication. • Professional writing, strong editing and page design ability required • Ability to manage multiple projects and processes and handle competing priorities • Excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills • Detail-oriented and able to adhere to tight deadlines • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) • Experience with InDesign is required • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs such as Illustrator and Photoshop is preferred • Ability to attend client meetings and conferences as needed • Adds to team effort by accomplishing other duties as assigned.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a positive proactive approach to the role, and will be committed to delivering customer service excellence, with good commercial results. • BA/BS in marketing, communications, English, journalism or a related field or equivalent work experience • 3 years' experience in preparing proposals in an A/E/C environment Physical Requirements and Working Conditions • Indoor office environment. May require work on site location when necessary. • Equipment used includes computers and standard office machines. • Essential physical tasks include: the ability to work on a computer and the ability to answer and speak on a telephone.
