Deliver individualized speech therapy that targets language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing difficulties. Work in collaboration with a team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to develop integrated care approaches. Provide educational resources to patients and families to facilitate ongoing development beyond therapy sessions. Participate in inpatient therapy evaluations and interventions as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for patients throughout their care journey. Keep meticulous and timely records in compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards. Engage in continuing education and collaborate with peers to remain informed on the latest advancements in the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within 30 days of employment. Skills
Strong foundation in evidence-based treatment strategies for diverse age groups, with comprehensive knowledge of developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams.
