Billing Specialist/Analyst

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a dedicated Billing Analyst/Clerk to join their team in California. This position involves managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the finance department with various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and efficiency. Responsibilities

Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner. Monitor and track billing discrepancies and resolve any related issues. Maintain and update customer account records with precise billing information. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure all billable services are captured. Analyze billing data to identify trends and provide insights for process improvements. Assist with month-end closing activities related to billing and accounts receivable. Support the finance team with reconciliation of billing accounts. Generate billing reports and summaries for management review. Qualifications

Strong understanding of billing processes and accounting principles. Proficiency in financial software and tools. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Experience with data analysis and reporting is preferred. Required Work Hours

Monday to Friday, during standard business hours. Benefits

Compensation for this position ranges from $67,000 to $70,000 annually.
