Overview of Position:

Heiser's Collision Center in West Allis has an immediate opening for a Collision/Body Shop Manager. This position is responsible for overseeing the auto body repair work.

Responsibilities

Oversee and inspect all auto body repair work completed in shop, maintaining highest level of service to meet ship standards and client expectations. Verify customer insurance policies to confirm which repairs are covered. Document work done in shop and purchase any necessary equipment and supplies Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them. Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments. Work with the Service Manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs. Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the body shop. Attend managers' meetings. Hire, train, motivate, counsel, and monitor the performance of all body shop staff. Direct and schedule the activities of all body shop employees. Provide technical assistance to body shop employees. Conduct meetings with body shop employees to discuss activities and departmental problems of mutual interest to develop strategies for a more efficient operation. Monitor body shop employees' payroll records. Develop, enforce, and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Handle customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines. Establish and enforce a pricing policy that balances volume, customer loyalty, and the cost of doing business

Requirements

Minimum 5 years relevant experience Valid and clean WI Driver's License Previous auto shop experience preferred Ability to function as part of a team Willingness to learn and take direction Ability to adapt to the needs of a fast-paced work environment
