Job Description
The Accounts Payable Manager reports directly to the Finance Director. Managing a team of Accounts Payable staff, will oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable, ensuring accurate and timely processing and recording of all transactions. Responsible for producing and reconciling various A/P reports and 1099 reporting.
Primary responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the accounts payable team, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and expense reimbursements. Oversee the review and approval of invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and compliance with contracts. Monitor and manage AP aging reports to ensure timely payments and resolve overdue items. Maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies or inquiries in a timely and professional manner. Support month-end and year-end close activities by, reconciliations, 1099, and reports related to accounts payable. Assist in audits by providing documentation and responding to inquiries. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills
Strong understanding of Accounting principles and practices. Ability to produce reports in Excel and Word. Strong organizational skills along with effective time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Self-starter. Ability to set and manage priorities. Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision.

FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000 Annually (DOE)
