Remote Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake / Azure)

• Architect & enhance a modern data lakehouse to unify structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from diverse sources. • Design and lead the migration of existing Azure data systems to Snowflake, building a scalable, secure, and high-performance data ecosystem. • Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate large datasets from internal and external systems, ensuring consistency, reliability, and efficiency. • Build advanced analytics solutions and reporting layers in collaboration with analysts and business leaders using tools like Power BI and Tableau. • Develop complex SQL, SPL, and stored procedures to manage, transform, and analyze high-volume datasets. • Identify patterns and insights from raw data using analytical and statistical techniques to guide business strategy. • Integrate data from newly acquired firms by engineering automated ingestion pipelines and harmonizing data structures. • Improve data quality, governance, and reliability through automation, auditing, and process optimization. • Partner with strategic vendors and internal teams to connect external data sources and enhance data access. • Support and optimize data integrations across key business platforms such as Tamarac Reporting, eMoney, HubSpot, and Box. • Stay current with emerging trends in data engineering, cloud architecture, and automation technologies.
