Description Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric categories utilizing standardized assessments alongside observational methodologies. Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both immediate goals and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions that emphasize language, communication fluency, voice control, and swallowing functionalities. Engage in collaborative efforts with physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop a seamless approach to patient care. Provide education and resources to patients and families to facilitate progress beyond the confines of clinical sessions. Conduct sporadic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring that our patients experience continuity throughout their care journey. Maintain clear and precise documentation that aligns with applicable state, federal, and organizational regulations. Stay abreast of advancements within the field via continuous education and collegial collaboration. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet obtained. Certifications

State licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days of employment commencement. Skills

Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities for all age demographics, with comprehensive knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders-both developmental and acquired. Outstanding communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Adaptability in therapy techniques to address the diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds of clients. Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving capabilities.
