About Our Client
I'm partnered with the VP of Finance at a well-established, stable organization within the industrial and manufacturing industry across three entities. This company is known for their commitment to quality, operational excellence, and fostering a structured work environment. They are now seeking to bring on a Controller due to growth within the company.
As the Controller, you will oversee the accounting and financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting within the industrial and manufacturing industry. This role offers the opportunity to lead accounting and finance processes while driving efficiency and compliance.
Job Description
Manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities. Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations. Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity. Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic planning. Collaborate with leadership to provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial reporting requirements. Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve department objectives. Work closely with external auditors during the year-end audit process. The Successful Applicant
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance Manufacturing industry experience required Cost experience needed Managerial experience needed Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and inventory accounting Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial management (ERP) software Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence What's on Offer
