This is a "Lead Tech" position with some management responsibilities, but no direct reports.

Job Summary

The Electro-Mechanical Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems used in juice processing, bottling, and packaging operations. This role ensures that all production equipment operates efficiently, safely, and in compliance with quality and food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

-Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production and packaging machinery, including pumps, conveyors, filling machines, labeling systems, and PLC-controlled equipment.

-Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.

-Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment and automation systems.

-Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues and ensure optimal operation.

-Calibrate and adjust sensors, motors, drives, and control panels.

-Talk to suppliers

-Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and spare parts inventory.

-Ensure all maintenance work complies with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

-Support continuous improvement initiatives and suggest ways to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, automation controls, and mechanical assemblies.

Familiarity with pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and pneumatic systems.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Understanding of safety standards and good manufacturing practices (GMP).

Excellent communication skills.
