About the Role: Join our dynamic team at Probst Refrigeration & Heating as an HVAC Service Tech! In this exciting role, you'll be responsible for delivering top-notch service to our valued customers in Effingham, IL, ensuring their heating and cooling systems run efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs on HVAC systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units.
Install new HVAC equipment and ensure proper functionality.
Provide excellent customer service, explaining repairs and maintenance clearly.
Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for HVAC systems.
Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and effectiveness.
Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in HVAC .
Minimum of 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.
Valid HVAC certification and relevant licenses.
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
