Typical Day in the Role: • Operate oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and RSA (Real-Time Spectrum Analyzers) for hardware testing and analysis • Perform I-V (current-voltage) characterization on a variety of electronic components and devices • Conduct RF testing and debugging to identify performance or design issues • Perform device teardown, disassembly/reassembly, and root cause/failure analysis • Document teardown procedures and test results with precision and clarity • Track test devices from initial intake through final resolution • Assist software teams by locating critical data within device file systems, under guidance.

Top 3 must-have HARD skills: • 4+ years of experience working with lab instrumentation and basic test equipment • Familiarity with procurement processes and inventory management for lab supplies and equipment • Competency in configuring, calibrating, and operating electronic test instruments

Good to have skills: • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Proven ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-based environments • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

How will performance be measured:

Working autonomously.

Key Responsibilities: Utilize, calibrate, and configure laboratory testing systems and instruments Conduct testing and analysis related to electrical circuits, signal integrity, I-V and RF tests, and optical microscopy Manage procurement and inventory control of lab supplies and equipment Provide technical support, training, and guidance to lab technicians, engineers, and other team members. Ensure compliance with ISO accreditations and audit requirements Generate detailed technical reports and deliver clear presentations Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment

Requirements: Minimum Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science 4+ years of related industry experience with hands-on work using lab tools and basic test equipment Strong background in electrical testing (Signal Integrity, Circuit design, I-V and RF tests), optical methods (Thermal and Light Microscopy), and design tools (SolidWorks, 3D printing, CT scanning) Expertise in lab equipment protocols, calibration, and configuration Experience in procurement and inventory management for laboratory supplies Knowledge of ISO accreditation processes and audit requirements Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations Ability to collaborate effectively with peers and across departments Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Bonus Qualifications: Experience with Python programming and foundational knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Knowledge of materials analysis techniques such as DSC, TGA, XRF, and FTIR Proven laboratory management and operations experience
