Middletown, NY Pay:

$22–$28 per hour Job Type:

Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire | Manufacturing | Quality Control Shift Details:

2nd Shift:

Monday – Friday, 2:50 PM – 11:00 PM

Week:

Typically on 1st shift at regular rate

Mandatory Overtime:

Every third weekend (Saturday & Sunday);

Sunday is paid at double time

Position Summary: We are hiring a

Lab Technician

to support inspection and quality control processes in a high-tech manufacturing environment. This role involves using microscopes to evaluate coated components, interpreting blueprints, and ensuring compliance with engineering and safety standards. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.

Lab Technician

Responsibilities:

Inspect coated components using microscopes to assess thickness and material composition

Break down parts for detailed analysis and documentation

Read and follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings

Perform additional tasks as assigned by management

Maintain accurate records for traceability and compliance

Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality goals

Lab Technician

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Must be a

U.S.

due to government contract requirements

Ability to work in

EBPVD

and/or

Plasma

environments

Comfortable lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, and working in confined spaces

Strong attendance, punctuality, and flexibility

Ability to follow instructions and multitask effectively

Qualifications:

Experience using microscopes, calipers, and reading blueprints

Previous manufacturing or lab experience

Organized and detail-oriented

Good communication skills

Quick learner and self-starter
