Role Overview As a Senior Associate, RPG Developer, you will lead development efforts and support the creation and maintenance of cost-effective application software. You'll apply your deep knowledge of tools, concepts, and principles to deliver software solutions that directly support business needs across internal platforms.
Key Responsibilities • - Collaborate with business and systems teams to design, develop, and maintain applications supporting NYL/Tampa Operations. • - Recommend improvements to development methodologies and environments. • - Perform complex programming using RPG. • - Design and support multi-platform systems to enhance productivity and reusability. • - Translate business models into detailed system specifications. • - Assist in creating test plans and debugging programs. • - Analyze job requests for feasibility and system impact. • - Execute assignments aligned with business strategies and initiatives.
Preferred Skills • - Experience with Aldon Change Management tool • - Familiarity with IBM WebSphere Development Studio Client (Eclipse) • - Comfortable working in a Windows desktop environment Health insurance 401(k)
