Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled
Oracle Commerce Cloud Support Engineer
with strong expertise in ETL, databases, and production support. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL, PL/SQL programming, Linux shell scripting, and data analysis, ensuring seamless data processing and integration across multiple database environments. Key Responsibilities: Provide
on-call production support , promptly identifying and resolving defects while maintaining SLA commitments. Monitor and analyze
job logs and performance metrics
to detect trends and proactively address potential issues. Troubleshoot production issues by reviewing
logs, implementing design changes , and following established change management procedures. Develop and maintain
documentation
for troubleshooting procedures, system configurations, and best practices. Manage and resolve
data load delays
and
database server downtimes , ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and
optimize data processing workflows . Work on
database integrations
between
Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata . Technical Skills Required:
4-7 years of experience
in
SaaS Oracle Commerce Cloud . Strong knowledge of
ETL and database technologies
(Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server). Proficiency in
SQL
(minimum intermediate level). Expertise in
Linux shell scripting
(file manipulation, file transfers, automation). Solid understanding of
Oracle Database
(Multi-Tenant architecture, schemas, roles, grants). dvanced
PL/SQL programming
(Packages, Procedures, Functions, Triggers, anonymous scripts). GIT configuration control
experience. Strong
data analysis
skills, including
data flow, integration, and data preparation
for consumers. General Skills:
Strong troubleshooting and
problem-solving abilities . bility to manage
multiple stakeholders
effectively. Excellent
communication and analytical skills . Education & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
