Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting production test rack personnel and equipment. Engineering in new product testing and construction. Supporting Electrical BOM, SPAs, and Engineering with Order Entrees.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

: Act as a first response for Product Management & Electrical/Controls Teams on all Production Support calls. Works closely with all engineering teams to provide support skills such as prototype build (Test Fixture or Electrical Panels etc.), and modification as required.* Ability to perform software updates and upgrades on preexisting controls and programs around the facility. To provide technical controls suppo1t to Engineering Product Management and Research & Development teams. Maintains tables and documentation for product details, such as bill of materials, piping, and electrical. Provides Engineering Applications support. Provides technical Warranty and After-Market Sales support. Works with outside vendors for new/replacement components. Reads and reviews electrical diagrams. Evaluates, tests, and modifies unit components. Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Communicates new product information and IOM/Service Manual information to all necessary AAON departments. Maintains and builds professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, or participating in professional societies. Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

3+ Years' Experience in HVAC related industry. Electrical Control/Electronic Prefer Associate's degree (A.A./ A. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: :

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry Ability to calculate Enthalpy, Humidity, Wet Bulb, Dry Bulb, using Psychometrics Ability to calculate Superheat and Subcooling readings Knowledge of Microsoft Word Knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Outlook Strong understanding of AAON Computer programs, Prism II and EOL Tester Experienced in using Digital Voltmeter to measure current, voltage, and ohm unit Experienced in using Manifold HVAC Gauges to measure discharge, suction, and liquid pressures Experienced in using Temp Sensor Readings to measure discharge, suction, and liquid temperatures Strong understanding in Solder and desolder stations Communicates effectively in written and spoken form. Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills. Exhibits good decision making and analytical problem solving abilities. Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills. Works effectively in a team environment. Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment. Work Environment: Lift up to 50lbs. Sit or stand for up to 95 percent of work hours. Periodic visits to the manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure.
