The
Facilities Maintenance Technician
is responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and upkeep of all company facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and able to support multiple facilities as needed, ensuring a safe and efficient workplace in compliance with company standards and safety regulations.

Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm | Must be available to work occasional weekends
What You'll Do:
Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and proactively resolve issues.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, manufacturing operations equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Repair, replace, and maintain equipment, lighting, fixtures, doors, furniture, and other building components.
Respond promptly to service requests, emergencies, and urgent maintenance issues.
Assist with the installation and setup of equipment, office layouts, and facility upgrades.
Monitor and maintain building access systems, security systems, and safety equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections using work order systems.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and building codes.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
Maintain organized and clean work areas, tools, and equipment.
Travel to three facilities as required to perform maintenance and inspections.
What We Need:
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in a related field is a plus.
4+ years of experience in facility maintenance, building operations, or a related role, Required.
Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general building systems.
Ability to read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Basic computer proficiency for logging maintenance reports and using work order systems.
Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in varied environments.
Willingness and ability to travel between company facilities in Belle Chasse, LA and Bay St. Louis, MS.
