Job Title: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Torrance, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Overview:
A manufacturing company in Torrance is seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join their production team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment and must be skilled in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers. The ability to read and interpret blueprints is required.
Responsibilities:
• Inspect parts, materials, and finished products to ensure they meet company and customer specifications
• Use micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
• Document inspection results accurately and maintain quality control records
• Identify and report defects or non-conforming materials to supervisors
• Work closely with production staff to ensure consistent product quality
• Follow safety and quality standards at all times
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Quality Control Inspector in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers, and precision measurement tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
