Fabricator – Composites & Specialty Manufacturing We are looking for a skilled Fabricator to join our team. This role involves working with a variety of materials to build custom parts and assemblies from start to finish. While composites are a big part of our work, we are happy to train the right person in composite techniques—what we need is a strong fabricator who can problem-solve, work efficiently, and build high-quality parts. Responsibilities: • Fabricate and assemble parts using
wood, foam, metal, plastics, and composites . • Use
hand and power tools
for cutting, shaping, sanding, and finishing. • Follow
engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions . • Assist with
mold making, assembly, and finishing
as needed. •
Composite layup, vacuum bagging, and resin systems.
• Maintain
quality control standards
, inspecting parts for accuracy and defects. • Follow
safety protocols
and contribute to a clean, organized workspace. Qualifications: •
Strong fabrication skills
with experience working with
various materials.
• Ability to
read technical drawings and follow build specifications . • Comfortable using
hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment . • Detail-oriented with a focus on
craftsmanship and precision . • Ability to
problem-solve and adapt to different fabrication challenges . •
Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well in a team . Compensation: $25 - $40 hourly
