Corporate Controls Engineer Garland

Responsibilities: Develop/Install/Commission Plant Controls & Automation Systems, including PLC Programming, HMI Development & MES Data Collection. Controls & Automation Systems Technical Support. Design & Specification of Plant Control System Architecture, including Control Panels, Hardware and Communication Protocols. Develop/Enforce Process Control Standards. Partner with and direct 3rd Party Technology and Automation Partners. Your Background: Minimum of 5 years working within a Controls & Automation Engineering role in the Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods or similar industry. Advanced Ladder Logic Programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix) is required. Advanced HMI Development is required, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra System Platform. Experience in the Food & Beverage industry or a similar industry with high sanitary standards utilizing CIP cleaning. Experience with .NET programming and SQL Databases is preferred. Experience with Ethernet/IP Communication is preferred Excellent formal and informal Communication Skills, Professional Attitude, and Professional Appearance. Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university is preferred. Industry experience may be considered in absence of a degree. Open to limited travel. Compensation: $125,000-$150,000 per year
