Position:

Maintenance Technician II Shift:

2nd Shift (Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) Compensation:

$28–$34 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and self-motivated Maintenance Technician II to perform intermediate to advanced maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within a facility or industrial environment. This mid-level role requires solid technical expertise and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

The Maintenance Technician II is responsible for executing preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring systems and equipment operate safely and efficiently, and complying with all regulatory standards. This position may also support senior technicians and contribute to larger maintenance and facility improvement projects.

Requirements:

Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems

Experience with preventive maintenance and troubleshooting procedures

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively

Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or an associate's degree in industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical engineering, or a related field is ).

· 3+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance, with hands-on experience in troubleshooting and repairing equipment.

· Proficient in using maintenance tools, including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and vibration analyzers.

· Strong understanding of preventive maintenance strategies and practices to ensure equipment reliability.

· Ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and perform necessary repairs or adjustments with minimal supervision.

· Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in maintenance, including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, and handling hazardous materials.

· Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.

· Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and generating reports.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively report issues and document maintenance tasks.

Desired Qualifications:

· Certification in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical systems, or mechanical systems (e.g., EPA certification, OSHA certification).

· Experience with building automation systems (BAS), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or other industrial control systems.

· Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance environments.

· Familiarity with project management software or tools used for scheduling and tracking maintenance tasks

Technology Requirements:

· Proficiency in maintenance management software (CMMS) to track and log work orders, maintenance tasks, and equipment performance.

· Familiarity with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, thermography cameras) to analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

Other Requirements:

· Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts as required.

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks, such as climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and using power tools.

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

· Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in maintenance.
