This entry-level role focuses on supporting the maintenance, operation, and improvement of our organization's facilities, ensuring all systems are functioning efficiently and safely. You'll work closely with senior engineers, contractors, and various departments to maintain a safe, efficient, and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
Support daily facility operations across multiple departments including R&D, production, and administration. Assist in maintaining and operating building systems like HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance tasks. Collaborate on capital projects and initiatives to enhance facility operations. Help manage relationships with external contractors and vendors. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes. Participate in emergency response and incident management activities. Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field. 1-5 years of experience in facilities engineering or maintenance. Basic understanding of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and facility management software. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
