Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC) Engineer
to join our team in
Grand Prairie, TX . This role specializes in
Modeling and Simulation (M&S)
of advanced aerospace and defense systems. The successful candidate will design, develop, verify, and validate simulations to evaluate system performance, support test activities, and integrate models into larger system architectures.
Security Clearance Requirement
Active U.S. Department of Defense Secret Clearance
is required Required Qualifications
Minimum
3 years of experience modeling weapon and/or sensor systems Minimum
5 years of experience integrating MATLAB models, C++ models, and tactical software
into simulations Minimum
5 years of experience in C++ and MATLAB programming Proven ability to evaluate system performance in complex scenarios and environments Experience supporting
Hardware-In-The-Loop (HWIL), ground test, and flight test activities Position Responsibilities
Design, document, and implement model and simulation requirements and architectures Develop, verify, and validate complex models such as
missile 6-DOF
and effects-based simulations Collaborate with subsystems and software engineers to integrate models into full system simulations Conduct performance evaluations against system and subsystem requirements Support test campaigns by preparing and analyzing HWIL, ground, and flight test data Perform critical studies and analyses to drive system improvements and risk reduction
