$150k - $180k Astrion is seeking a
Launch Systems Engineer (LSE)
supporting cradle-to-grave space launch and support operations with emphasis on strategic planning and stakeholder communication. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Education : Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or a related STEM field. Technical Level III (T3) certification a plus Minimum 8
years of space launch experience
(preferably with OSL systems or similar). Extensive knowledge of
NRO/OSL launch policy and procedures . Strong understanding of:
Launch enterprise capabilities. NRO Satellite Vehicle (SV) launch interface, fueling, transportation, and processing requirements. NRO SV lifecycle requirements. NRO budgeting and financial processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and deliver briefings/assessments to various audiences, including senior government leadership. Support full life-cycle launch activities, from planning through execution.
