Job Summary

Adecco Permanent Recruitment is partnering with a well-established manufacturer in the plastics and materials industry to help them hire a

Maintenance Technician (Die Setter) . This position serves as an entry-level gateway into maintenance, ideal for mechanically inclined individuals with a foundation in manufacturing or plastics processing. The role combines die setup responsibilities with hands-on exposure to industrial equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in a dynamic, safety-focused production environment.

Key Responsibilities Perform die and mold setups and changeovers to support daily production schedules. Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance on injection molding and related production equipment. Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems under supervision. Help install, inspect, and maintain motors, conveyors, and power/control circuits. Work from diagrams, schematics, and manuals to identify faults and complete safe repairs. Utilize PLCs to assist with identifying and resolving automated equipment issues. Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work meets OSHA safety standards. Contribute to continuous improvement and reliability initiatives. Qualifications and Must-Haves

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or maintenance setting

(plastics or industrial highly preferred). Electrical certification/training or equivalent 3-5 years of experience working with electrical systems. PLC certification/training or equivalent 3-5 years of experience with PLC troubleshooting. Strong mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of pneumatics and hydraulics. Ability to diagnose equipment issues using standard tools and testing instruments. Good communication and teamwork skills with a strong focus on safety. Motivation to learn and advance into higher-level maintenance roles. Preferred:

Associate Degree in Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Technology. Prior die setting or mold setup experience in a plastics manufacturing environment. Proficiency in AutoCAD or interpreting technical drawings. Exposure to preventive maintenance programs or lean manufacturing environments. Pay Details:

$26.40 per hour
