Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems and components. This role requires a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles, along with the ability to work collaboratively on complex projects. The Electrical Engineer will engage in various tasks from project scheduling to root cause analysis, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and client specifications.

Duties

Design and develop electrical systems and components for various applications.

Create and analyze schematics, PCB layouts, and system designs.

Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks for design documentation.

Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on project scheduling and execution.

Implement signal processing techniques within system designs.

Develop firmware for programmable logic controllers (PLCs) using Python, C++, or SystemVerilog.

Engage in quantum engineering projects as needed.

Perform soldering and surface mount technology (SMT) assembly for prototypes.

Conduct debugging sessions to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems.

Utilize vision inspection systems for quality assurance in manufacturing processes.

Skills

Proficiency in FPGA design and implementation.

Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.

Experience with system design tools such as MATLAB and Simulink.

Familiarity with NEC standards and electrical safety regulations.

Understanding of mechanical engineering concepts related to electrical systems.

Ability to perform scripting tasks using Perl or similar .

Knowledge of ARM architecture and its applications in embedded systems.

Experience with signal processing algorithms and techniques.

Familiarity with Arduino platforms for prototyping purposes.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed root cause analysis.
