Opportunity: Cath Lab Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab Job Details: Work 4 days per week, 10 hours per shift Full-time position On-call requirement every other weekend from Friday night at 4:00 PM to Monday morning at 5:59 AM Potential to float to interventional radiology (IR) Nurse to patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 depending on daily assignments Graduate from accredited school of Radiology Technology or associate's degree in healthcare-related field required Bachelor's degree preferred 0-1 year of experience in acute care setting preferred Required certifications: BLS via American Heart Association, PALS via American Heart Association, ACLS via American Heart Association Must obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire to work independently State licensure required based on modality (New Mexico: RRT, CS, DMS, FUS, or VS by MIRTP NMED) Certification required in one of the following: RCIS by CCI, RCES by CCI, RCS by CCI, CI by ARRT, CV by ARRT, or VI by ARRT Prepare catheterization lab and operate essential equipment including fluoro imaging and digital image acquisition Document patient information and hemodynamic measurements accurately Maintain aseptic technique and patient safety standards Collaborate with medical team to optimize patient care and departmental efficiency Serve as radiation safety representative during X-ray usage Support physician needs during procedures and ensure proper patient positioning Participate in daily room checks and supply stocking Adhere to organizational dress code and attendance policy Facility: This healthcare organization operates a comprehensive cardiac catheterization laboratory that provides critical cardiovascular interventional services.
