We're partnering with a leading financial services firm to add a
Systems Engineer
to their growing technology team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of cloud, on-prem, and Microsoft 365 environments while mentoring others and serving as a key escalation point.
What You'll Do:
Manage and enhance Microsoft 365, Azure, and AWS environments Oversee VMware, backup/disaster recovery (Veeam, Rubrik) and on-prem systems Act as a go-to escalation point for infrastructure & advanced desktop issues Support ongoing
cloud migration projects
and security initiatives Automate processes with PowerShell or Python Contribute to business continuity, compliance, and cybersecurity efforts What We're Looking For:
3-6 years in systems/network administration (enterprise experience preferred) Strong Microsoft 365 & Azure background; AWS a plus VMware, server infrastructure, and backup/recovery skills Scripting/automation skills (PowerShell, Python) Bachelor's degree required; certifications (MCSA, AWS, CCNA) are a plus Location & Schedule:
Hybrid role
- Boston HQ, 4 days in office, 1 day remote Occasional travel (up to ~20-25%) to other U.S. offices On-call rotation: one week every six weeks Compensation & Perks:
$100K - $150K base salary 10-20% annual bonus potential Excellent benefits package
