Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated
Senior Accountant
to join our accounting team. This position is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting while supporting general accounting activities such as journal entries, month-end closings, operational analysis, tax filings, and annual audits. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and thrives in a results-driven environment that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities: Manage and perform accurate, timely month-end closings and financial reporting. Prepare and maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies. Conduct variance analysis between actual results and forecasts, providing meaningful insights to leadership. Support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses. Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in accounting operations. Support annual audits and provide documentation as required. Uphold safety, integrity, and ethical standards in all work activities. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of cost or management accounting experience. Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. CPA certification or MBA.
