Job Description

Test Technician

Build, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electromechanical assemblies; per applicable documentation and quality workmanship standards.

Weekend Shift: Friday through Sunday, 6:30am to 7pm

Job Summary

Perform tests in accordance with test procedures.

Document testing and record test results.

Troubleshoot and correct malfunctions at the component and subassembly level.

Solder various components to PCB Assemblies.

Wire and solder prototypes and other complex assemblies of unique or unusual design per applicable specifications.

Assemble chassis components using a variety of hardware.

Assemble electromechanical devices using a variety of hardware.

Adhere to General Requirements of Team Members.

Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.

Perform other assignments as required

Skills & Qualifications

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:

Associates degree in electronics technology preferred, or 3 or more years in manufacturing setting with knowledge of products

3 - 6 months experience

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic computer skills (Excel and Word).

Basic Access skills per location requirements

Ability to operate electronic test equipment specifically including oscilloscopes, function generators, and digital volt meters

Ability to read and interpret wiring drawings and schematic diagrams

Ability to read and interpret engineering assembly drawings

Ability to read and understand production drawings

Basic soldering skills

Ability to build electronic assemblies

Abilities listed in General Requirements of Team Members

Required Experience and Education

Associates degree in electronics technology preferred, or 3 or more years in manufacturing setting with knowledge of products
