well-established CPA firm looking to expand our Tax Department. We are currently seeking a
Senior Tax Accountant
with 3+ years of experience in public accounting. The ideal candidate will be a CPA or CPA candidate. Summary of Responsibilities: Preparation/Review of tax returns with accuracy and technical compliance for business, individuals and trusts Recognize and research tax issues Work closely with Partners, Managers and staff on client management Develop and maintain client relationships Other related duties as assigned Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting Thorough knowledge of tax accounting principles and professional standards CPA (or actively working toward passing the Uniform Certified Public Accountant Examination) 3+ years of experience in public accounting bility to organize, prioritize and manage multiple engagements Strong interpersonal skills fostering client and staff relationships Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation, review and tax compliance Experience with QuickBooks and Ultratax Software a plus Excellent and competitive compensation and benefits, including:
