We're excited to partner with a renowned Tax, Accounting, and Planning Firm in New York, NY, to find a talented Tax Accountant to join their team!
About the Role:
As a Tax Accountant, you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional tax services to a diverse client base, including corporations, partnerships, high net worth individuals, trusts, and tax-exempt entities. You'll have the opportunity to:
Prepare and review complex tax returns, developing business and personal tax planning strategies Provide expert tax advice to clients, identifying opportunities to offer additional services Collaborate with a talented team of professionals, mentoring junior team members and sharing your expertise Stay up-to-date on federal, state, and international tax issues, conducting research and applying your knowledge to drive client success Requirements:
3+ years of experience in accounting and tax preparation, with at least 1+ year in public accounting Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of federal and state tax returns Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office, with CCH Axcess tax software experience a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results What Our Client Offers:
