M&E Project Manager Derby, England Fulltime/Permanent Salary DOE Job Description We are seeking an experienced M&E Project Manager to oversee the full project lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover. The role involves managing project delivery to time, budget, and quality standards while ensuring safety and compliance across all site operations. Key Responsibilities: Lead all phases of projects, from planning to completion. Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and resources to meet programme milestones. Conduct design reviews and apply value engineering to optimise cost and performance. Monitor project finances, including procurement, variations, and cash flow. Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and quality standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. Manage project risks and implement effective controls. Support estimating, planning, and preparation for future projects. Promote a culture of safety, quality, and sustainability across project teams. Qualifications and Experience: Degree, HND, or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical, or Construction-related discipline. SMSTS, CSCS, or equivalent certification. Proven experience delivering M&E projects within Tier 2/3 subcontractor environments. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Commercially aware with the ability to balance schedule, quality, and cost. Experience in major commercial, leisure, healthcare, or industrial projects.
