Description Conduct comprehensive evaluations for patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics via standardized assessments and direct observation. Create tailored treatment plans that meet both immediate goals and long-standing communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs. Deliver focused speech therapy sessions emphasizing areas like communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Engage collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals including physical and occupational therapists, physicians, and families to design integrated care approaches. Provide patient and family educational resources to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient visits for evaluations and interventions, ensuring all aspects of care are connected. Document patient progress meticulously according to state, federal, and corporate standards. Stay informed on recent developments in the field by pursuing continuing education and working with peers. A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an approved institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire. Skills
