The successful candidate will be tasked with ensuring supply continuity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This senior leadership role involves overseeing all supply chain functions, from planning and procurement to logistics and supplier relationship management. The VP will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive global supply chain strategy, leading all supply chain functions, and establishing best-in-class processes and systems. Operational excellence, performance management, and driving cost optimization initiatives while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance are also key responsibilities. Applicants for the VP, Global Supply Chain Management position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred, and at least 15 years of experience in global supply chain leadership, particularly in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or life sciences manufacturing industry. The role requires a proven track record in managing complex, multi-regional supply chains, deep understanding of global trade and regulatory considerations, and the ability to lead and motivate large, diverse teams. Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills are essential, as is experience with major ERP systems and supply chain planning tools. The ideal candidate will be highly detail-oriented, organized, and possess the ability to work both independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
