Our client
is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Manufacturing QA Technician I
to join their growing team in Riverside, CA. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Hours : 2nd Shift - M-F 11:30 AM - 8 PM, potential for OT
Key Responsibilities Conduct sampling, testing, plating, reading, and recording of product test results. Maintain accurate daily records and perform data entry. Perform internal audits and follow hold procedures for non-compliant products. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment. Prepare for regulatory inspections and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Execute lab testing procedures, including microbial plating, component analysis, and environmental swabbing. Inspect equipment and facility areas for sanitation and compliance with safety standards. Conduct sensory evaluations on milk and other products. Monitor all
Critical Control Point (CCP)
records and frequencies. Report production-related issues to supervisors and assist with customer complaint investigations. Manage product specifications, documentation, and training related to
GMPs ,
Food Safety , and regulatory compliance. Maintain inventory and oversee laboratory supplies.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field - or equivalent experience. Knowledge of
Microbiological, Physical, Chemical, and Organoleptic
testing methods. Familiarity with
HACCP ,
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) , and
Sanitation Standards . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Proficiency with Windows-based applications;
intermediate Excel skills
preferred. Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities. Ability to multitask, work independently or collaboratively, and adapt to a dynamic environment. Capable of lifting up to
50 lbs .
