Human Resources Generalist
Reports To: HR Manager / Director of Human Resources
PositionSummary: The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing a wide range of HRfunctions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance,benefits administration, performance management, and training support. Thisrole partners with management and employees to ensure HR policies and practicesare effectively implemented and aligned with organizational goals.
KeyResponsibilities: • Support full-cycle recruitment, including jobpostings, applicant screening, interviews, and offers. • Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, andoffboarding processes. • Administer employee benefits programs and assistemployees with enrollment and inquiries. • Provide guidance to employees and managers on HRpolicies, procedures, and workplace issues. • Handle employee relations matters byinvestigating concerns, documenting findings, and recommending resolutions. • Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development planning. • Maintain compliance with federal, state, andlocal employment laws and regulations. • Support HR initiatives such as employeeengagement, recognition, and retention programs. • Partner with payroll to ensure accurate employeedata and timely processing of pay changes. • Maintain HR records, reports, and systems withaccuracy and confidentiality. • Assist in developing and delivering HR-relatedtraining for managers and staff.
Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, BusinessAdministration, or related field preferred. • 2-4 years of HR experience; prior generalistexperience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred. • Knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, andcompliance requirements. • Strong interpersonal and communication skillswith the ability to build effective relationships. • Problem-solving and conflict-resolution skillswith sound judgment. • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft OfficeSuite. • Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) aplus.
