Job Summary
- Job Description Maintain and repair analytical instruments and measuring equipment Test data management and analysis. Ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous chemicals and waste in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Conduct and oversee chemical analyses including moisture, fat, acidity, viscosity, pH, salt, protein, color, and other quality indicator tests to ensure compliance with product specifications and standards. Perform microbiological analyses to detect and monitor bacterial and fungal activity, including routine testing for pathogens such as E. coli, Salmonella, and Listeria, ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance. Carry out physical and mechanical evaluations such as compression, tensile, and box strength testing to validate packaging integrity and material performance. Supervise analytical staff, review and approve Certificates of Analysis and lab request forms, and maintain up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency in the laboratory. Qualifications Authorized to work lawfully in the United States Entry level to experienced with relevant experience preferred Associate degree or higher in Chemistry or Food Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
