Production Control Supervisors
in
Melbourne, Florida . In this role, you will create and maintain production flow plans for modifications and heavy maintenance to ensure all maintenance schedules are met. You'll work closely with maintenance planning, material control, and aircraft production leadership to create and update production flow while utilizing ERP data to maintain an efficient flow of information throughout each maintenance visit. Minimum Requirements & Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required
Aircraft maintenance experience required
Minimum of five (5) years of aviation maintenance supervision experience preferred
FAA A&P license preferred
Strong familiarity with maintenance production processes
Ability to interpret aircraft maintenance manuals, service bulletins, structural and wiring manuals
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to develop robust execution plans for aircraft modification and heavy maintenance events
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to obtain and maintain an AOA badge or meet airport security requirements
Major Responsibilities & Duties
Coordinate with maintenance planning, material control, and production leadership to plan aircraft modification and maintenance visits
Proactively recognize and resolve maintenance production control problems, adjusting resources as needed to optimize operations
Monitor and evaluate maintenance requirements for progress and problems, adjusting workload priority accordingly
Oversee the compilation of maintenance production data and analysis metrics through software tools
Plan the accomplishment of workload to meet maintenance schedules using available man-hours and coordinating adjustments as needed
Analyze maintenance data for production statistics such as man-hours needed, man-hours used, delivery timelines, and causes of delays
Additional Duties
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors necessary for the normal day-to-day operation
Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions
Ability to perform work utilizing a computer for extended periods of time
Ability to withstand intermittent moderate noise levels
Ability to see clearly at distances of 20 feet or more
