Key Responsibilities
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and customer billing Prepare bank reconciliations and assist with cash management reporting Help maintain inventory accounting records and investigate discrepancies Support the preparation of financial statements and management reports Partner with cross-functional departments to ensure accurate financial data Assist with audit preparation and documentation requests Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-4 years of accounting experience (retail or inventory-based business preferred) Solid understanding of GAAP and standard accounting principles Proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs) and familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar) Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Excellent communication and teamwork skills
