About the Crossroads Program:
As a Crossroads Therapist, you will be instrumental in providing intensive support to youth and families within our program. This role primarily operates on a second-shift schedule, typically between 10:00 am and 6:00 pm, with flexible hours based on the unique needs of our clients and programs, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Role Responsibilities:
In this dynamic role, you will:
Conduct thorough bio/psycho/social and chemical dependency assessments.
Craft individualized treatment plans and effective interventions.
Deliver counseling services to clients and families both within our center and in community settings.
Collaborate with court staff, allied professionals, and various agencies.
Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation.
Participate in nurturing team meetings, ongoing supervisions, and targeted trainings.
Facilitate evidence-based programs, individual and family counseling, group sessions, and case management services.
Empower youth through activities that enhance life skills, problem-solving, teamwork, and career exploration.
Serve as a care coordinator and case manager for youths enrolled in our program.
Key Responsibilities:
Your core duties will involve:
Assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment for youth referred to the Crossroads Program.
Formulating recommendations for clients transitioning out of the program.
Implementing targeted interventions and addressing barriers to treatment progress.
Effectively communicating clinical findings and recommendations to clients, families, and court personnel.
Upholding professional boundaries in a community-based context.
Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of all clinical interactions.
Actively engaging in team meetings and continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:
Master's Degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling is preferred; SUD/co-occurring treatment experience is a plus.
Possessing a valid Ohio LSW or LPC is required; LISW or LPCC is preferred.
Strong competencies in crisis intervention, diagnostic assessment, brief mental health counseling, trauma-informed care, family systems theory, and motivational interviewing.
A proactive ability to work independently and take initiative.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Commitment to cultural competency and sensitivity.
Dedication to ethical and professional conduct.
A valid driver's license, along with an acceptable driving record (fewer than 6 points), personal transportation, and insurance (if required to drive for the agency).
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $58,000 annually, accompanied by a $4,000 sign-on bonus!
