Electronics Test Technician I Pay:

$21-$26/hour Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

About the Role You will test and troubleshoot avionics products to support production and engineering teams. This role involves working with schematics, test equipment, and Microsoft Excel to ensure quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Test products at assembly and sub-assembly levels (ESS, ATP). Diagnose failed units and CCAs using schematics and drawings. Perform inspections to confirm design compliance. Record and upload test results into database. Maintain clean, organized test stations. Assist in designing test cables and harnesses. Set up new test stations and source components. Configure PCs for testing (software, file transfers). Calibrate and maintain tools and equipment. Support inventory audits and update test procedures. Provide test support and inspections at vendor sites. Perform additional tasks as needed. Follow FAA regulations, including drug and alcohol testing.

Qualifications Education

Associate's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology, OR Technical/vocational certificate in electronics production with hands-on training. Experience

6 months-2 years in electronics or avionics testing.

Skills

Read and interpret schematics, drawings, and procedures. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel required). Use test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, microscopes). Install software and set up PCs for testing. Strong problem-solving and attention to detail. Clear communication, written and verbal. Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Knowledge of math, safety, scientific principles, and mechanical systems. Research and apply information from multiple sources. Reliable transportation for work and vendor site travel.

Working Conditions

Standard hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Travel to the vendor site in Croydon, PA 2x a week for the first 2-3 months is required. They will reimburse you for travel.
