KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for WMS Systems Engineer that is fully remote.
Position Overview We're seeking a WMS Systems Engineer / Developer to support and enhance our warehouse and distribution technology platforms-especially HighJump WMS. This position will play a key role in maintaining data integrity, integrating warehouse automation systems, and streamlining workflows across distribution operations.
Key Responsibilities * Configure and maintain WMS user access and data profiles within HighJump. * Perform SQL-based tasks such as reading stored procedures, conducting ad-hoc database updates, and generating ad-hoc reports for operations and leadership teams. * Develop and troubleshoot JSON-based messaging structures between systems. * Support integration with Warehouse Execution Systems (WES) and other automation platforms to ensure seamless material handling and data exchange. * Collaborate cross-functionally to understand distribution process flows, identify system pain points, and deliver technical solutions. * Maintain and manage JIRA tickets, project tracking, and change management documentation. * Troubleshoot and resolve WMS-related issues quickly, ensuring minimal impact to distribution operations.
Required Qualifications * HighJump WMS experience is mandatory (minimum 2 years hands-on configuration or development). * Strong working knowledge of SQL Server, including reading/writing queries and performing safe database updates. * Experience with JSON messaging structures and system integrations. * Familiarity with WES platforms and automation interfaces. * Solid understanding of distribution center operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping workflows. * Experience managing development backlogs and support items in JIRA. * Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively. * Excellent communication skills for interfacing with warehouse operations, engineering, and IT stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications * Experience with RF-based workflows, barcode label generation, and material handling equipment integrations. * Prior involvement in WMS or ERP upgrade/implementation projects. * Familiarity with middleware or integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) a plus.
