Description The National Security Sector is seeking experienced Triage Examiners who are proficient in Spanish to engage in media exploitation (MEDEX) and triage for our clients. This role is pivotal in analyzing foreign language materials and conducting Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) operations. You will utilize your language and analytical skills, along with technical expertise, to manage triage examination projects effectively. Required Language: Spanish Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive data discovery on extensive datasets of Spanish materials to identify key information. Transform and optimize media files using specialized forensic tools, ensuring they are ready for translation. Prepare and organize files and their metadata for seamless integration into translation systems. Generate detailed reports of your findings for distribution to customers, analysts, and liaison officers. Create accurate written gists, translations, and transcriptions of both general and technical documentation. Basic Qualifications: Demonstrated language proficiency and analytic skills necessary for effective use of required tools and processes. Fluency in English at a native level. A minimum of two years of experience in Spanish linguist operations, along with two years in media examination for DOMEX projects. Availability to occasionally work shifts to meet mission requirements. Ability to achieve a minimum score of 3/3 in Reading and Listening in Spanish and 3+/3+ in English. A Bachelor's degree plus at least four years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree with a minimum of two years of experience. Alternatively, eight years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree. Expertise in summarizing complex subjects in a clear and accessible manner for general audiences. Strong problem-solving capabilities for vague and abstract challenges. Capacity to maintain momentum on projects while working independently with minimal supervision. Skilled at quickly scanning and analyzing large quantities of foreign language materials for crucial information. Ability to understand and apply customer prioritization requirements to materials under review. Proven experience in maintaining the integrity and meaning of translated content. Excellent communication skills in a professional setting. Ability to manage stress and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with report writing conventions for DOD and IC consumers. Competent in standard computer systems and office software, as well as media examination tools. Willingness to learn and achieve proficiency in customer-specific software tools. Security Clearance: Must have an active TS/SCI clearance with a CI poly. Current or recent SCI-level access is preferred. Must successfully pass a polygraph and Subject Interview. Preferred Qualifications: Native-level proficiency in the foreign language. Graduation from the Defense Language Institute Chinese Course. An advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry, Physics, Legal, Medical, Banking and Financing, Foreign Military, or Forensics. Familiarity with Digital Forensics, eDiscovery, and Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) processes, including tools like FTK and enCase.
